Proposed Deal Settings Panel

The Proposed Deal Settings panel is used to define settings, such as the source used to determine book values for proposed vehicles on proposals and leads generated using the XtreamService application.

The Proposed Deal Settings panel displays on the Proposal Generation Settings screen. To access the Proposal Generation Settings screen, click the (More) icon and then click the Proposal Generation Settings link in the Settings section.

To add or subtract an amount from a proposed vehicle's book value, select the appropriate entry in the first Book Value Deviation field, and then enter an amount in the second field.

When generating a vehicle proposal, the value of the customer's current vehicle can be used to define a price range for the proposed vehicle. To define a price range for a proposed vehicle using the value of the customer's current vehicle, make entries in the Proposed Vehicle Price Range fields. Enter the amount to subtract from the value of the customer's current vehicle in the first Proposed Vehicle Price Range field. Vehicles priced below this value are not be proposed for the customer. Then enter the amount to add to the value of the customer's current vehicle in the second Proposed Vehicle Price Range field. Vehicles priced higher than this value are not be proposed for the customer.

The following fields are available in the Proposed Deal Settings panel.

Book Source: Select the source used to obtain vehicle book data, such as Black Book. Click the (Down Arrow) icon to display a list of valid entries.

Book Value State: Select the state used for vehicle book data. Click the (Down Arrow) icon to display a list of valid entries.

Note - It is important to select the correct state for the dealership, since vehicle book values vary by state.

Book Value: Select the type of book value to apply to vehicles, such as Wholesale Average or Retail Average. Click the (Down Arrow) icon to display a list of valid entries.

Note - The options available in this field vary based on the entry in the Book Source field.

Book Value Deviation: Enter the amount to add or subtract from the standard vehicle book value selected in the Book Value field. Select whether the amount should be added or subtracted in the first Book Value Deviation field, and then enter the amount in the second Book Value Deviation field. The value of a customer's current vehicle included on proposals is adjusted based on the entry in this field.

Finance to Lease Term: Enter the number of months to propose on lease deals for customers who currently finance their vehicles.

Lease to Finance Term: Enter the number of months to propose on finance deals for customers who currently lease their vehicles.

Proposed Vehicle Price Range - New: Enter the amount to subtract from the sell price of the customer's current vehicle to define the lowest price of vehicles to propose to the customer.

Proposed Vehicle Price Range - Used: Enter the amount to add to the sell price of the customer's current vehicle to define the highest price of vehicles to propose to the customer.
